John Cena Drafted to Smackdown – A lot of people were surprised by this pick. But to me this was completely predictable. It being at the beginning of the show was a little odd though.

R-Truth cuts a pretty damn nice heel promo before getting attacked by John Morrison.

Then we get on with a boring divas match between Eve and Layla for the second draft pick. Seems like laycool is over. Overall match – 3/10                                                                                             Rey Mysterio is drafted to RAW – Yes because that worked so well last time. 

A fantastic promo by Cody Rhodes follows.

Next match up is a match between Kofi and Sheamus who note had already competed in the battle royal. But most of the guys in the matches had. So no big deal I guess. Pretty good match. Kofi getting the victoryOverall – 7/10 

Randy Orton is drafted to Smackdown – WHAT! This was certainly a shocking pick after Cena had been drafted earlier.

Next up we have a match lasting around 6 to 12 minutes between Michael Cole and Jim Ross. Really shitty match all the way. JR busts Cole’s lip open. JR wins by DQ when  Swagger puts him in the ankle lock as Cole removes Jim Ross’ beat and whips him with it. Following the match the gm makes the ppv match an Extreme Whipping match and if you just read this you were bored to tears. Overall – 1/10

Skipping the miz promo the next match is bewteen Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler for two draft picks. Ziggler wins Pretty good match on both their parts. Overall –  6.6/10                                                      Due to CM Punk taking time to cut a promo during the commerial it is announced that Sin Cara and Mark Henry are going to Smackdown – Interesting that Sin Cara and Mysterio are swapping brands. Henry not so much.

Next up is Rey VS Barret again for two draft picks. Nice match. Rey wins. Overall – 7.2/10 

RAW gets Alberto Del Rio and Big Show – Interesting, Del Rio not Big Show. 

The main event is CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio & The Miz vs Christian, Mark Henry & John Cena. The match itself was alright. But there it was suprising when Henry turned on Cena and then attacking christian causing team raw to win. 7/10

And the final draft pick is….CENA TO RAW! 

Wow. Okay that’s fine obviously not realistic but okay. The only thing I don’t understand now is what was the point of the Henry heel turn if Cena is on RAW now. Hmmm….. Oh well.

USA teasing Cena’s move to Smackdown after six years and the fact that Cena is advertised to be on the smackdown taping following the draft leads some folks to believe that John Cena is the one heading to smackdown. Although with Orton winning his rematch against CM Punk I suppose he could too. But that’s not the point.

I know quite a few people think that it’s high unlikely to happen. Maybe it will. May it won’t. But stop acting likes it’s impossible, because it’s not. To think that Vince thinks he needs Cena on raw is stupid. Because in truth it wouldn’t be all that much of a problem. In fact, it’d be the perfect move. With Cena and the Rock’s match happening at ‘summerslam?’   ‘Survivor Series?’   ’next year’s wrestlemania!’ it would be just the thing to keep ol’ Cena from getting stale. The Rock can stay interesting without Cena on RAW. It doesn’t really matter. Cena already has his Mania match set up does it really matter? Now, I’m not saying I think will happen. I don’t know. But don’t be such a bunch of idiots about it.

Oh and about the Cena – Rock match. It’s kind of a crazy thing. They need “CENA VS THE ROCK! OMG! WE’VE BEEN WAITING A WHOLE YEAR FOR THIS!” and, “Uhhh….it’s been a year. I’m tired of hearing about this…..”.  If Cena were to go to smackdown and WWE and the rock got their shit together The rock could even make a few appearances on smackdown. They need to be so careful.

Anyway the WWE draft usually will tell you a lot about where they could plan on going with the current stories. And in a way changes a lot of things. There’s certain stars that will change things. Stars including Alex Riley, Rey Mysterio, Wade Barret, Cody Rhodes, Alberto Del Rio, Jerry Lawler, in addition Any member of the Corre or Nexus, and any champion. So we’ll see and I’ll review the draft after monday nigh with more thoughts ready. Till then,

MAIN TOPIC:

Well needless to say WWE wasn’t looking good for awhile. People were sure WrestleMania was going to fail. Of course it never was going to because Vince McMahon is an evil genius. That simple fact was proofed Monday night when the Rock returned to Monday Night RAW after seven years. So is WrestleMania still going to fail?

It looks as if The Undertaker will be returning in time for Mania. The date being the 2/21/2011, the Raw after the elimination chamber. His opponent or any other details are very much unpredictable. But I’m sure he’ll be there. Is WrestleMania still going to fail?

According to the Georgia Dome website Triple H is also scheduled to be at Mania. Whether or not this has something to with the 2/21/2011 thing I don’t know. But I assume it’s going to be good having both Taker and Triple H return for Mania. So, Is WrestleMania still going to fail.

Almost 4 weeks til Mania and we know Booker T, Triple H, The Undertaker, The Rock and possibly Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels  and Kevin Nash (maybe) will be at Mania. There’s also the working out of Jerry Lawler having his first match at WrestleMania, the excitement of Alberto Del Rio getting his first title shot at mania, who doesn’t want to see John Morrison?, fantastic story lines and unpredictability.  So to answer the question, Is WrestleMania going to fail? No!

Dolph retained in a good but coulda’ been a lot better sort of match. Show beat punk in a boring career wasting sort of match. Daniel Bryan beat The Miz in probably the best match of the night. funny the guys at wrestlezone pointed out that the guy who came last on nxt got a title win before the winner. lol. cody and drew won the tag team titles. Am I the only one who could see this team actually working. the match was bad consisting of tag teams just randomly put together though so meh.

Undertaker may have gotten wwe to give his wife Michelle Mctaker a title, but he on the other hand lost to Kane in what seemed to be a pretty bad match, then again he was selling coming out of a vegetative state.

And lastly was the 6 pack challenge. And the outcome was so predictable. Orton. I said before the ppv. dammit orton is gonna win. I honestly feel though that Sheamus needed to win that match. I’m not the biggest Sheamus fan ever. But if I am or was to ever take him seriously he needed to get that win!

the ppv overall isn’t worth rating and could be the reason the next raw got such a low rating.

Also interesting the wrestling observer reported that there was “immediate reaction” within WWE to the dramatically low 2.8 rating. They are fearing it won’t get much better next week. Next week smackdown is going to be and syfy and is also taped. So this could be interesting.

Oh, and people in wwe are rethinking orton as champion. maybe too soon. aah. Now they think!

Another big topic recently is Matt Hardy. He’s posting twitter messages talking about being misused. Trying to get out of his contract but he can’t get out of it. He’s also been going to the gym. And he’s lost quite a bit of weight in other news. And he is misused. Both the Hardy boyz are. Sure Jeff’s won the wwe title. But 1 was like for a month and face it the hardy boyz will probably never be remember for their singles careers. They are going to be remember as the hardy boyz. someone might go oh but jeff also won wwe championship. The highlights of Matt and Jeff’s careers will always be when they were a tag team. Maybe some will remember the matt edge and lita thing but eh. I’m ranting. Anyway, I hope Matt and Jeff come to realize this eventually and spend the last years of their careers as a tag team.

Oh and I never remembered to mention how stupid that Kurt Angle storyline was. He was going to work his way to the top of the ranking and they decided to have a tournament for number one contendership!

On Smackdown Paul Bear returned! When Kane opened that casket he seemed so confused. I’d be too. Who’s side was Paul ever on. He was on Undertaker’s side then Kane’s then Undertaker. And how come now he is on Undertaker’s side. Undertaker killed him. Paul Bear always seemed a little slow too me for some reason. I don’t know. But I am glad that they didn’t just forget about Paul Bear. I figured Paul would return. So, yeah.

It’s no surprise that Kaval won (as he should have) Even JR pretty much said, Yeah I’m pretty sure Kaval’s gonna win. And on a side note Riley finally got some personality.

Now a lot of people don’t like Alex Riley. AND I QOUTE “Alex Riley will be an epic fail“. No one finds him good. But wait a minute. Doesn’t this sound familiar? Yes, I believe we said the same exact things about the Miz. But where is the Miz now. The clocking is ticking as we are waiting to see the miz cash in his briefcase and win the WWE championship. S0 you just wait.

And that leads me to the next subject. You know the miz right? The guy we all said he couldn’t do it. He kept trying and succeeded. I quite enjoy the miz. Everyday he gets better. But, some people say Morrison is the Marty Jennette. He is not. Joey Mecury is the Marty Jennette. I’m just sayin. Morrison is a heck lot more successful than Mecury. Did Mecury beat Chris Jericho this past Monday Night. No. Although I love the Miz, I still believe in JoMo.

Now about that. Morrison beating Jericho on Monday. On raw both edge and jericho were punished for the last week. And if they lost they’d be out of the 6 pack challenge. Jericho lost his bout. And that’s okay I guess. He’s done all there is for him to do. I don’t know why i even wrote about this.

Something else notable happened on RAW. Cena VS Wade Barret and Justin Gabriel and Orton. The winners facing each other next week. Unfortunately Orton is fighting Cena again! I thought they weren’t suppose to wrestler each other again. Ugh. Anyway about nexus now. I just feel that if WWE really wants us to think nexus is this powerful, fearless group they’re billed as they should be winning more matches. They say their such a donminate force. But then they get in the ring one on one and they both loose.

Speaking of people not being getting good pushes, what happened to Evan Bourne’s? He wrestled a tag team match with John Cena! And now he’s back jobbing. What the freak? I don’t get it.

Speaking of people who have poor mic skills (hold on I gotta get this off my chest) , how come  they ripped Benoit for not having good mic skills, yet Orton is acceptable.  Benoit was a hell of a  lot better on the mic than Randy Orton is. What do people see in Orton. They say he’s the next Stone Cold, always hitting people with his finisher. And yes he is the next Stone Cold, by default! You see, the difference between Stone Cold and Randy Orton was Stone Cold actually had personality. I’m just sayin’.

Now a little off topic. What is with TNA. I personally am not a fan of Invasion storylines. But this is terrible. I can’t even say anything about. aaaaaaah.

And the biggest topic recently seems to be the anonymous general manger of monday night raw. Who is it?  I have a hinch it might be Triple H. I not sure if it is him but several things suggest it.

First of all. He is married to Stephanie. And when he got attacked it is very possible Vince called Hunter up and asked him to do this. However he certainly wouldn’t be able to do it in person. So an easy way to that is email.

Another thing suppocious is that the gm doesn’t seem to be favoring Sheamus. Lets go over that.

A. Made Cena’s title shot a steel cage match.

B. Asks Miz to sit back by ringside for evan bourne vs sheamus. miz attempting a cash in.

C. Letting Nexus have title shots again ending his truce with Nexus.

D. putting him in a six pack challenge.

So that’s what I got put together. Hm…

It could be anyone though, however I doubt it’s gonna be the return of stone cold or the rock. come on people!

My Rant
Well,  first off I am totally against the pg thing in WWE. Later when Cena came out Cena  stalled. Shaking his hand seemed like the logical thing to do, but i’m instead he says, “Why stop when were having so much fun.” And go for the FU. A bunch of nobodys come out to save him and Cena comes out on top. EH! The GM says next week he will wrestle the Nexus next week on RAW. Seriously Cena? Isn’t Cena suppose to be like a role model for kids. And there he was throwing a fit, beating uip Darrin Young.Yet the guy who is against drinking and drugs is the heel?  What? I understand that that’s just the way WWE works. But what is this teaching kids? To drink and smoke and throw fits when you don’t get what you want?  To still go to work and end up attacking everyone when your brother is in a coma? Okay, maybe a little over specific, but my point stands. And worst of all Cena make Darrin young bleed. Violating the no blood rule. Ha ha. Anyway, you get the point. WWE and PG do not work. And I can tell you plenty of other stories , but honestly I don’t have to.

A lot of people probably don’t watch NXT, but whether a lot of people watch it or not, it prepares WWE for the future. Speaking of NXT, I never talked about that ending to the terrible show. It was great. It means now the main eventers and the new guys will work together and by the end of the transition a new era in wrestling could be upon us.

And it’s not just RAW. Smackdown is also great. A lot of guys who are down in FCW go over there to feud with others. And when they get good they go to RAW. Like, Drew McIntyre. When he came to Smackdown, he wasn’t real great. His style wasn’t working out and he wasn’t over enough as a heel to win money in the bank. But recently he’s improving, quite a bit. He is starting to work well with guys, since he has been working with Matt and Kofi. And I’m starting to actually kind of liking him as a good heel.

I also like the whole anonymous GM thing. So, yeah, RAW and just WWE in general is getting better. Hopefully it stays that way.

According to WWE.com. Ted DiBiase is a stalker that would make R-Truth his latest victim. Ted wanted to make a business deal with Truth. “You do my dirty work and I pay you!” After being rejected Ted got angry. He keeps hiring WWE superstars to attack him. Even some as unexpecting as Carltio, who barely ever shows up, and just as he starts showing up again he gets released. Sorry a little off track. Anyway Ted also hired a body guard to protect him from R-Truth. He wouldn’t need one if he just accepted that R-Truth didn’t want to be his payed butt monkey. Will R-Jobber prevail? I’m thinking no. Ted is being pushed to the top. R-Truth, not so much. Ted has a lesson to learn. But wrestlers don’t usually learn those lessons right away. For now, I’m thinking Ted DiBiase can buy himself out of this one.

Divas Champion Eve vs. Maryse

Sigh, when am I gonna get to the matches we care about? Well gotta get this one outta the way. My prediction is for Eve to retain.

Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty vs. Chris Jericho & The Miz

Okay for awhile we’ve been just switching around tag teams now Jericho and Miz are going for the tag team titles that miz lost with show. Chris Jericho just went back to raw recently at the draft. Prior to that he had some failed attempts at going for the World Heavyweight Championship.  I think it’s a running joke WWE has to keep Chris Jericho on RAW. The Miz not only lost the tag titles but lost the U.S. title to Bret Hart? I know, stupid right? Anyway, so know that leaves us here and The Hart Dynasty is just getting started. I pick them to retain.

Randy Orton vs. Edge

This is another feud started after the draft. Randy had finished his feud with Ted and Cody and completed his face turn. Leaving him with no one to feud with. Edge went to RAW at the draft. He came to say goodbye on Smackdown. When Christian, who just got drafted to Smackdown, came out and pointed out that he was a jerk. And Edge confirmed the heel turn and left Smackdown. Then on RAW they cut a segment Edge said lets join forces, after being a jerk to him and next week Randy scared and made Vicky resign as new raw gm. Randy’s been on a rule for awhile and I think it’s time for a tossup. Edge is my prediction!

Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk (S.E.S. Pledge vs. Hair Match)

CM Punk was supposed to have had his head shaved by now. But then some hooded man (Joey Mercury) , who S.E.S swore they didn’t know attacked Rey. Of course he also attacked Evan so of course he has something to do with S.E.S. We later find out he does. So, there going at it again. If Rey wins he shaves Punks head. If Punk wins Rey makes the pledge. I don’t see Mysterio in S.E.S. working out. So either something random will happen or Rey Mysterio will win.

Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston

Drew McIntyre isn’t half bad, the problem is no one wants to work with him because he’s crazy. Drew after being a jerk to an injured Matt Hardy, had the IC championship taken away from him and then he was fired. He didn’t have to worry about anything though since instead, of come back after the pay per view and feuding with Matt, the next week on Smackdown Theodore showed up with a note from Mr.McMahon putting him back on the brand and giving him back the title. The problem was the week Drew was fired there was tournament started that ended with Kofi Kingston defeating Christian to win the vacated title. Thus Kofi is forced to have this title match with Drew for a second shot at winning the title. In my opinion I think the madness stops here Kofi is going to win the Championship. Not sure how long he’ll keep it. But this would make things more interesting when Matt comes back!

World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger vs. Big Show

Jack Swagger prior to the draft was working on defending his title against Edge and Jericho. But suddenly, and WWE.com realized this two, with both of them drafted to RAW, now Jericho going for the tag titles and Edge feuding with Orton, Smackdown ran out of competitors for the World Heavyweight Championship! Luckily Big Show, lost the tag team title with the Miz, who I now trying to win it back with Jericho, and went to Smackdown. Big Show just happened to be the only guy who’d make sense. Thus by luck he gets a shot. Before I say anything else. I’m picking Swagger to retain. Now Big Show looks good right now. On Smackdown he beat Drew and Jack lost to Kofi. But that is the exact reason I didn’t pick Show. You see they do that on purpose one looks good going in, but not going out. So, yeah Swagger to win!

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Batista (“I Quit” Match)

Now, I don’t really care about this one, but it’s on the card so I’ll talk about it. Batista probably isn’t happy and would like to win the title. Since he didn’t get in this movie, probably because he sucks at acting, lol. John Cena already made him tap out and beat him with duct tape. And I don’t think Batista’s going to get any happier. When Cena has a title rein, yeah it takes awhile. Batista, not so much, maybe on Smackdown, but not on RAW. Cena’s going to win again, but probably not with duct tape. They’re going to try to naje it look better than that. I pick Cena to retain.

Overall: Eh.

Opening Segment

It started out a normal feud segment. Orton talking about Edge. Then Meatloaf came out. I’m like what the freak! He basically shows up just to ad his cd. Stupid. He rkoed him. Saw it coming. Then Edge came out and said there was now a raw gm. And it was Vickie. I think it was a good choice. No one saw it coming and now the on the bright side Long has no assistant.

DH Smith VS Jericho

Okay match. Jericho was to be The Miz’s tag team partner if he won. The bad thing about wrestlers wearing trunks is you can tell which guys used to use steroids. Jericho. DH obvious didn’t. Jericho wins and gets a shot at the tag championship. Thus continuing the cycle of tag teams breaking up them one of them finding a new partner.

REGAL VS R-TRUTH

Of course Truth and Flava flav are gonna come out together. Truth says Flav is a hip hop legend. Yeah for like 5 minutes. The didn’t seem that great but the colons, reunited, come out and hit Truth with a choke and a backstabber. Didn’t see that coming. And of course Ted shows up and hands them envelopes. Primo (later) : why did he hand us an empty envelope.

RYDER VS BOURNE

Bourne is good as ever. Ryder still sucks. Evan Bourne won a match. Sweet!\

Bastista/Cena segment

Don’t really care all that much. Cena announces an i quit match. Typical cena segment (okay segment) Batista and Sheamus team up attacking Cena. Mark Henry goes for the save. WHAT? WHY? Whatever.

Tyson VS Miz

If Tyson won he was to defend his intercontinental championship  against  a member of the Hart Dynasty. Miz seemed to be dominating most of the match if I remember right. Tyson won though. Weird. What happened next was crazy. Miz said next week is defending the title against Bret Hart. That’s is kind of stupid. They shouldn’t keep putting him in the ring like this. He can’t wrestle good anymore. I thought I read on wrestlezone that he was done soon.

8 on 4 Handicap Match (NXT Rookies vs WWE Superstars)
John Morrison, Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust & Santino Marella vs NXT Rookies

The commentators were acting like it was a big deal for them to be facing actual WWE superstars. But these four guys, maybe not morrison, aren’t all that important. You got Yoshi really doesn’t do all that much, Goldust who is a jobber and the comedy relieve Santino. Then Morrison just got drafted. So, yeah. It was actually a pretty good match. Daniel Bryan won. Wow!

Bastista VS Mark Henry

Neither one of these guys are great wrestlers. Woah Henry gets knocked out. Typical match.

Edge & Mystery Partner VS Orton

Ted. Wow, that was predictable. Great match though. Don’t know why R-Truth came out but great! Good Night!
